Background

Young Women for US (YW4US) was founded in December 2020 by a group of young women who campaigned to get Joe Biden and Kamala Harris elected. YW4US is a community of women and gender non-conforming people, young and young at heart, who believe that politics is for everyone. As a political home base and activation center, we are dedicated to making it easy and fun to take meaningful action.

 

Our Impact in the 2022 Elections​

In 2022, YW4US rallied around 94 candidates, 51 of them won their election!

 

We made 10,728 phone calls to voters in Illinois, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. We also wrote 400 letters to voters in Texas.

 

We hosted seven voter contact events for the 2022 midterms and two for the Georgia runoffs in December 2022.

 

In all we grew the YW4US community, recruiting 108 volunteers and partnering with six organizations to maximize our impact!
